On Dec. 10, 2019, the “Hooked On Books” Book Club held its annual Christmas Party, and 28 lovely ladies braved the chilly temperatures to attend. The group was treated to a delicious meal of chicken spaghetti with various salads, side dishes, and a huge array of scrumptious desserts. After a brief discussion of December’s Book, “The Tattoist of Auschwitz”, the ladies participated in a lively and highly competitive “Chinese Christmas Gift Exchange”, with lots of good natured “stealing” of gifts, lots of laughter and visiting, and an abundance of Christmas Spirit and Good Cheer!! -Alane Haardt
