“The men and women at the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Port O’Connor are some of the hardest workers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Just a couple of days before they helped make a life-saving rescue in the Matagorda Bay, I visited the Coast Guard station. I got to experience a day in the life of a Coastie and get a first-hand update on the operations along our coasts.
I have the utmost respect for how these service members protect our coasts and serve our nation day in and day out. Great work, and thank you on behalf of the people of District 27! May God bless them and protect them in all the work they do.”
