This winter as many as six adult whooping cranes visited Powderhorn WMA. The US Fish and Wildlife Service was able to place a GPS transmitter on one of the cranes. As part of their community outreach, Seadrift Mason Lodge presented a “Fantastic Teeth” program to our local schools. They explained the importance of brushing and maintaining teeth every day. They also gave first grade students a Fantastic Teeth accessory kit for brushing and care of teeth.
