As of the time of this writing there are over one million Americans currently out of work in the United States, putting a strain on the unemployment system and destroying the savings accounts of both families and individuals.
Like many of the challenges we face as this year gets into its second half, there are no easy solutions to this problem but there are options which may not pay your next car or mortgage payment, but will allow you to make a little extra money on the side.
1. Qmee: This one works if you need even the little bit of cash you are gaining immediately, as any amount you make here can instantly be cashed out to your PayPal account. The main thrust of this website/app are surveys, but you can also make small amounts by installing a web browser extension and browsing the web and your favorite online retail outlets like you normally would.
2.Inbox Dollars: This one takes a little longer as it requires a minimum of thirty-five dollars to be collected in your account before you can cash out but there are also multiple ways to gain the money to reach that amount.
There are of course surveys but also videos you can watch, games to play, paid emails, offers to sign up to for cash, web searches, and even a scratch off system you can win up to a hundred dollars on instantly.
Additionally, this site pays out in various ways such as by a paper check, by gift cards, and recently, PayPal as well.
Swag Bucks: Another website in the vein of the above, with surveys and other activities such as video watching, offers, games, web searches, the Swago Board, and even an app for a live TV style game show, broadcast twice weekly
.
Every one-hundred Swag Bucks is one dollar in PayPal cash or a dollar towards a wide variety of gift cards they have on offer.
Upwork: If surveys are not your thing and you have a valuable online skill set and your not afraid to put in a little elbow grease Upwork can actually become a useful part of your monthly income.
The categories of skills that can earn money are vast with tons of choices such as accounting, writing, web design, engineering, legal work, translation, and even sales and retail customer service.
Payouts vary by job type and skill level but this one can actually pay off some bills if you have the skill set and put the time in…you can also hire freelancers in all the available fields via Upwork as well.
Times like these can be tough in many ways, especially as no matter what is happening in the world we will always need money to pay our bills and debts or buying supplies. Most of the websites here will never ‘break the bank,’ but it can get the little things in life and perhaps even let the cash flow run more evenly, even if you are working.
My time with you is up for this month but there are other small and large work from home options out there so if you liked this article and would like there to be a part two to the opportunities listed here just let me know.
