Saturday, October 10, was a big day for patriotism!

Port Lavaca had an incredible display of flag-waving patriots in an assortment of vehicles, a tractor, and horses! None other than County Judge Richard Meyer and County Sheriff Bobby Vickery led the parade on horseback! Our U.S. Representative Michael Cloud joined the parade as well!

Our thanks to Amy and David Mauer for bringing this parade together! Their desire was to ‘“give something positive to the community and show support to our first responders and our veterans.”
