Seadrift Police Chief, Leonard Bermea, (pictured) is proud to note that he and two of his officers, Louis Warren and Mike Henry, were invited by the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department to provide security for the presidential route. They, along with 2500 police officers from across the nation, were invited as well.

Also serving from Calhoun County were Lt. Joe Garcia, Deputy Robert Montero, Constable David Thomas, K-9 Officer Dakota Smith, Deputy Wesley McKely, and Investigator James Taylor.
