Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce

The 9th Annual Crawfish Festival was a huge success!!! We estimate that between the prepared plates of crawfish and the cookers around 8000 pounds of crawfish were prepared at the beach this year!!!

We are now looking forward to the Memorial Day Kids Fishing Tournament, sponsored by POC Rod and Gun, and the Kite Flying Contest, sponsored by Coastal Bend Marine. These fun events will take place on May 29, 2021 at the King Fisher Beach. The fishing tournament will begin at 8:00 am and we will have three age brackets: 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Awards will be given for the largest, the smallest and the most fish caught. All you need to do is bring your rod and reels, bait and snacks will be provided.  Then at 12:30 registration for the Kite Flying Contest will begin with a 1:00 start. There is no age limit so bring your best kite and join in on the afternoon fun.
The Farmers Market will be held throughout the year on the second Saturday of each month. The vendors will be at the King Fisher Pavilion from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Saturday, July 3, 2021 will include fun events to celebrate the birth of our country. During the day, the food trucks will be lined up with funnel cakes, snow cones, hot dogs and much more. That evening after dark, approximately 9:00 pm, we will see the sky’s light up with a spectacular fireworks display.

If you love scavenger hunts, mark your calendar for Saturday July 24th. This is a fun event for the whole family. While in your golf cart you will search for items in Port O’ Connor. Get your competitive hat on as we will have some very nice prizes.
