A Benefit for Noral McCauley will be July 17th at the Port O’ Connor Community Center. Times and other info TBD.

If you’d like to donate anything for the bbq, raffle or bake sale, please message Kaleigh McCauley on Facebook. They will be having shirts made, and she will post designs ASAP once they have them so she can get accurate numbers.

Several people have asked about monetary donations to help with the initial cost of the benefit and his current medical bills: there is now a bank account set up at FNBPOC for donations. Please put “gift” in the memo line of any check and make them out to Noral McCauley. The amazing ladies there will take care of the rest. Noral’s health update (as of June 9): he is fighting a good fight in DeTar. He is NOT currently accepting visitors beyond immediate family. There is also almost no extra space in his room, but he appreciates those who sent plants/flowers. Doctors are trying to stabilize him so he can start the gene blocking therapy and get a shunt put in to keep from having to repeatedly stab and drain his abdomen.

Kaleigh says, “He loves all of you and I have been letting him know who all comments or messages. He is not strong enough to use his phone right now, but he is being read all of your messages.
