Rev. Debora Ann Overton-Ruddick, 74, of Seadrift went home to heaven June 12, 2021.  She was born November 13, 1946 in Austin to James Hubert and Minnie Jane Roberson-Overton.  She was an ordained minister and member of the Assembly of God.

She is survived by her loving husband, Everett Owen Ruddick; daughters, Shelly A. Armstrong and Colette D. Maglitto (Bob); son, Ronald E. Ruddick (Rosie); sisters, Janie L. Varley (Bobbie) and Betty Jo Lewis (Donnie); brothers, Mike Overton (Judy) and Patrick Overton (Patricia); 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Hubert Overton Jr.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Port O’Connor Cemetery with Sister Joanie McDonough officiating.   A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service at the Fisherman’s Chapel in Port O’Connor.
