If you’re a shrimper, you’d be looking for some cooler weather. The brownie shrimp season was a good one, but the white shrimp season hasn’t been going well. The cooler weather, says Chris Ingram could really help shrimpers catch more shrimp right now. Kyle Nevarez, agrees. Both men have worked the water for some time…Kyle, for about forty years, and Chris, for about thirty-five years.

Our hats off to those who work the water. Both Seadrift and Port O’Connor have seen over the years men and women making a living from the water. They are our heroes! And that’s a fact!
