The Friends of the POC Library‘s guest speaker, Brent Hart, captivated a packed house at the POC Library on 11/16/2021, with his interesting and informative program about the “History of the Matagorda Lighthouse”. Pictured above is Mr. Hart with FOL President, Michelle Lippold. Those in attendance were treated to refreshments and a very entertaining evening!! The Friends invite all of POC to join them for their next Adult Program at the POC Library on January 24, 2021, when renowned author, historian, and musician, Curt Locklear, will entertain us with his music, story telling, and book signing. Refreshments will be served starting at 6:00 PM. The program is free to the public, and all are welcome!! -Alane Haardt
