Library News: As summer nears, Michelle Marlin, Librarian of the POC Library, is busy getting ready for the influx of summer visitors, including children looking for entertainment when the school year ends!! The Library’s “Summer Reading Program”, which is the highlight of summer for many of POC’s children, encourages children to read over the summer months, log their hours, and be entered into a drawing for some really great prizes, which are presented at the Awards Ceremony held in July!. The Summer Reading Program also offers fun, wonderful programs every Tuesday beginning June 7, 2022 through July 26, 2022. at 10:30 AM- please see the schedule below. All children from newborn to age 17 are encouraged to participate!

“ Friends of the POC Library: The Library’s support group, the Friends of the POC Library, is busy making plans for their annual Membership Drive, which begins on June 1, 2022. The Friends welcome all who would like to join this hard-working group in supporting the POC Library; and will have their Annual Meeting at 4:30 PM on June 21, 2022 in the Multipurpose Room of the Library. The Friends appreciate the generosity and support of the POC Community, as we continue to do wonderful things for our beautiful POC Library !!
