Edinburg – Sylvia M. Rodriguez, 70, entered eternal rest Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Windsor Arbor View in Edinburg.

Born in Port Lavaca, she had lived in Edinburg for 25 years and was formerly of Seadrift, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Maria Morales; five brothers; and one sister.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roberto Rodriguez of Edinburg; four children, Sylvia Ann (John Pitonyak) Rodriguez, Robert Lee Rodriguez, Daniel (Rosalinda) Rodriguez, Marcy Rodriguez; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven siblings, Lucia Gonzalez, Greg Morales, Virginia Morales, Maria Christian, Elmo Morales, Alma Morales, and Rosie Moreno.

Funeral service took place Friday, June 3, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
