Anika Feuerlein, who lives in Germany, but really loves the United States, enjoyed her very first fishing trip. You could say it was beginner’s luck as she caught two keeper redfish at the Big Jetties, outfishing us all. We gave her a tour of Texas history, including Goliad, Galveston, and the Alamo. We are looking forward to her visit to Port O’Connor again next year. -Dave Pope
