Tanya DeForest holds the candle that was lit in memory of her mother Lillian Stubbs at the “All Saints Sunday” memorial service at Seadrift’s United Methodist Church. This service on October 6th was held in memory of those who passed in 2022. Twenty-four people were honored with the lighting of a candle and the sound of a bell. What followed was scripture reading, silent meditation, and Holy Communion.
