Our featured guest in the Dolphin’s Kid’s Corner column is Naomi Grace Aguilar. Naomi is nine years old and attends the fourth grade at the Seadrift School. Her parents are Jose and Yolanda Aguilar. Her older brothers are Joe and Caleb. Her pets are: (dogs) Simba, Rosie, and Daisy (cats) Charlotte, Cheetos, and Charles. Naomi and her family attend an area Pentecostal church.

Naomi hopes one day to be able to attend college. She has been saving money for her tuition and focuses on getting good grades to help her get a scholarship. She wants to be a fashion designer and a singer.

Naomi writes music and loves to sing. She loves to share her faith with her friends and prays with them.

Two years ago, Naomi helped pack backpacks for foster children. This year she shared Christmas gifts she won at a local raffle, and even added some gifts of her own, for foster children through an agency called “Upbring Foster in Texas.” (See picture with Naomi on the right and representative on the left.)

Naomi says, “My family and my God are special to me because they support me in everything I do.”

One of Naomi’s favorite Bible verses is found in Philippians 4:13. It reads, “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
