This tournament was held on September 28th and 29th with a total of 25 Purple Heart recipients honored and hosted by Warrior’s Weekend and our supporting sponsors and boat captains.

These trips are very select and purchased at our largest fundraiser, the Muster, in April. Although mostly male, the tournament was actually won by a female Purple Heart recipient, Erica Greene of Madisonville, Texas. She took home about $800 in cash for her efforts. But the money is far from the most important element of our event.
The event was held at 5D Steakhouse and Brianne and her crew did a great job of hosting us including two great meals and providing their great facility. Port O’Connor is very fortunate to have a nice facility to host events like ours. They bring a lot of business to POC and in turn, help everyone out.
