J.N. Henderson, a beloved figure in Russellville, AR, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 2024, at the age of 90. Born on October 10, 1933, in Seadrift, TX., J.N. was the cherished son of Johnny Sr. and Nellie Maureen McDaniel Henderson.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he went on to build a successful career as a business owner of Superior Machine Works. Beyond his professional accomplishments, J.N. was deeply devoted to his family, serving as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Sax-Bratton and her husband Roy of Russellville; his grandchildren Gene Sax and his wife Cynthia of Danville, Shantil Elliott and her husband Andy of Russellville, Lee Bratton and his wife Gina of Russellville, Alex Greene of Portland, OR, and Samantha Bratton of Portland, OR. His great-grandchildren include James Sax and his wife Katheren of Atkins, Katrina Mitchell and her husband Chad of Atkins, Kimberlee Sax of Russellville, Gene Sax III of Victoria, and Chance Elliott and his wife Shannnan Gardner of Russellville. He is also survived by eight great-great-grandchildren, his sister Gloria Specen, and his brother Tommy Henderson Sr.

J.N. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Lee (Jackson) Henderson, his parents, and two sons, Mike Henderson and Danny Ford. He also mourned the loss of his sisters Geraldine Rubacalba, Mary Ella Glaze, and Wanda Kirkwood.

A member of the Disabled American Veterans, J.N. enjoyed working around the house, deer hunting, and spending quality time with his family. His warm presence and dedication to his loved ones will be deeply missed.
