On Saturday, April 5th, participants of all ages gathered for a delightful day of spring gardening activities. Children engaged in planting seeds, interactive games, and hands-on learning experiences that fostered their appreciation for nature. Participants were able to take home their plants. Calhoun County Public Library generously sponsored the supplies and refreshments, ensuring a successful and enjoyable event for all.

Exciting progress is underway as we work toward expanding the Port O’Connor Library! Our goal is to add 2,500 square feet, featuring: study cubicles, a dedicated teen area, a Library of Things, and additional seating for our growing community. We invite you to visit the library and experience all it has to offer—we look forward to making it even better with your support!
