We are so proud of our members for representing Calhoun 4-H at the District 11 Spring Spectacular and we can’t wait to see how they do at Texas 4-H Roundup!
This group of Calhoun 4-H members rounded out the District 11 4-H contest week at the D11 4-H Livestock Judging Contest, where they finished 10th as a team!

Special shout out to McKenna for representing Calhoun 4-H at the District 11 Spring Spectacular. McKenna placed first for her Sr. Educational Presentation -Safety and Injury Prevention. She is State bound!
Poultry exhibitors attended a clinic on Sunday, May 4. After the clinic, Intervoastal 4-H members met at the POC Community Center. Officer elections were held.
Calhoun County 4-H Council meeting was May 12. Record books, Star award, and senior scholarship applications are due by June 9. Poultry orders are due by June 12.
We look forward to a great summer with lots of opportunities for 4-H members, such as the Texas 4-H virtual Reel em In Tournament and the Texas 4-H Outdoor Challenge.
Our next meeting will be August 3 at the POC Community Center.
