Port O’Connor ~ William “Bill” Flynt Reeves, Jr. 70, passed away on September 27, 2013.  He was born on February 3, 1943 in Pennsylvania to the late William Flynt and Nettie Fairchild Flynt.  Bill was a Baptist minister for approximately 40 years, serving several churches including Port O’Connor First Baptist Church from 1971 to 1976.  He also served at Fire Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department of Port O’Conner.

William is survived by his daughter, Amy Galbraith and Chris Galbraith; son Damon Reeves and Pagie Reeves; sister, Sandra Holton; grandchildren, Jordan Reeves, Jacob Galbraith, Emily Galbraith, Sarah Galbraith, Matthew Galbraith and Nathan Galbraith.

Funeral Services were held October 2, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Port O’Connor with Reverend Mike Hurt and Reverend Erny McDonough, officiating.  Burial followed at Port O’Connor Cemetery.
