Here it is for all you crawfish lovers, this is your festival! The Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the second annual Crawfish Festival and Crawfish Cook-Off at King Fisher Beach and Park on May 3, 2014 from 10am to 6pm. There will be live music throughout the day, food, drink and craft vendors. Many local organizations may have booths there as well.

There will be a Crawfish Boil Cook Off contest, as a Crawfish eating contest, to a Wild Card Category (any other type of dish with crawfish). This is a family friendly event that will have many things for everyone to do including children activities. So mark the date on your calendar now and make plans to spend your weekend in Port O’Connor at the POC Crawfish Festival and Cook Off.

Proceeds from this event will go toward King Fisher Beach improvement projects. Your support is vital to the success of this festival. Whether a sponsor, vendor, cook off participant, volunteer or attendee we will have lots of fun. Oh, by the way, I did say volunteer…if you would like to be involved, we would love to have your help.
