Calhoun County Republican Club President Rita Poimbeauf and Russell Cain present scholarships to Calhoun High School students Hannah Krause, Kingsley Scott and Rebecca Ann Vaughn. Each read their essays entitled, “What Being a Republican Means to Me,” at the regular meeting.

Special guest speaker Agent George Torres will speak on the work of the Texas Border Patrol at the next meeting scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Grace Episcopal Church on Austin Street in Port Lavaca.
