Girl Scout Bronze Award Project

Girl Scouts Claire Reinhard and Kaylee Price of Troop 9510 have taken up the cause of helping the Calhoun County Humane Society in its effort to provide for the many animals in its care. To further this goal, the Scouts have set up a Pet Food Drive for Saturday, April 16.

The types of pet food needed are: Pedigree Adult Dog Chow, Pedigree Puppy Chow, Purina Cat Chow, and Purina Kitten Chow. Also needed are: Pet Crate Carriers, Fold and Carry Kennels, Gift Certificates, and Monetary Donations.

Donations may be dropped off at WalMart or at Dr. Stephen F. Wilson’s office at 1015 N. Hwy 35 on Saturday, April 16, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

For more information, please call Becky Reinhard at 655-3638 or Cynthia Price at 935-6595.

Scouts Claire and Kaylee are hoping you can help this worthy cause and thank you in advance for your thoughtfulness. They also would like to remind you that the biggest need at the Calhoun County Humane Society is for more volunteers.
