San Antonio, TX –Stetson Dierlam of Port Lavaca in Calhoun County has been chosen to participate in the Texas Brigades’ 10th Battalion Bass Brigade program this summer. He was selected based on his academic record, interest in wildlife and natural resources, and leadership activities.
The Texas Brigades’ mission is to educate and empower youths with leadership skills and knowledge in wildlife, fisheries, and land stewardship to become conservation ambassadors for a sustained natural resource legacy. This is the 23rd year of the Brigades.
There are seven Brigade camps being held this summer: two Buckskin Brigades, two Bobwhite Brigades, Bass Brigade, Waterfowl Brigade, and Ranch Brigade.
Due to the high interest of these programs, the application season has closed for this year’s camps. If you would like to receive emails regarding the 2016 camps, please feel free to contact us.
