Warrior’s Weekend is a non profit 501 3 (c) organization that began in 2007, our
core mission is a fishing tournament in Calhoun County each May.
 Have taken over 5,000 wounded heroes fishing since 2007
 Donated an All Terrain Vehicle and two-seated golf cart to Brooke Army
Medical Center in San Antonio
 Held a Vietnam veterans parade and Korean War veterans day parade in
Victoria, Texas with over two hundred entries
 Donated a specialized therapy bath tub to a severely wounded hero
 Hold an annual fish fry for the wounded, spouses and caretakers at Brooke
Army Medical Center in San Antonio
 Have paid towards the funerals of several wounded heroes
 Donated to the local Army National Guard by the way of setting up a
computer cafe to allow their families to communicate while deployed
 Hold free luncheon for all local veterans each Veterans Day
 Support the local Vet Kid Activities and Christian Warrior Retreat –
organization ministering to veterans of all eras.
 Annually erect Warrior’s Weekend Field of Honor whereby patrons sponsor
a flag – over 3,000 – in honor of their favorite hero(s)
