Petty Officers Casey, Makey, and Barrera, along with Coast Guard Auxiliary #710 Flotilla Commander Shons manned the information booth at the Coast Guard Open House on Armed Forces Day, May 21st.

It was also the observance of National Safe Boating Week and Commander Shons reminds us that the next Boating Class (which all person born after Sept. 1, 1984 who have not yet reached their 18th birthday are required to take before operating a boat or personal watercraft) is scheduled for June 18 at Coleto Creek Park.
