Stanley Alton Thumann Jr. “ Bubba” was born May 28, 1970. He died August 18, 2018. He was a Christian. He is survived by his wife C.K., sons Jeremy and Samuel Thumann, his sister Denise Sandy, brother Brian Thumann , mother Shotsie Thumann and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by so very many loved ones from the Bell and Thumann family that were so abruptly taken, that helped shape the person he became.
Bubba graduated from Calhoun High School and attended TSTI in Waco for diesel mechanics. He served in the Navy for 7 years. He worked at a variety of places: mechanic, helped build boats, and worked as a shrimper.
His sons were his pride and joy. His greatest enjoyment came from his sons and being on the water, hunting and fishing or just enjoying a beautiful sunrise. He was always available to give a helping hand to fix any mechanical problem anyone ever had. He could fix anything, if he couldn’t fix it he would have zip ties and duct tape to make it work a little longer. He loved his family and our small community.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Prayers and encouragement for his sons will be greatly appreciated.
Services were held at the Port O’Connor Cemetery on August 22nd, with dinner and fellowship following at the Port O’Connor Community Center.
