Ted Gill of Seadrift celebrated his ninetieth birthday with family and friends on July 9th! Ted has lived in Seadrift for 60 years! One thing he especially enjoys about Seadrift is its tranquility

Over the years Ted Gill has worn many hats..husband, father, grandfather, Seadrift Mayor and Councilman, Chairman of different church committees, Scout Master leader, and Masonic Lodge Master.

Ted has this to say about his community involvement, “Very few citizens in the city of Seadrift have had the opportunity of improving Seadrift’s living conditions, and I did! Mission completed! Thank you, God!”
