Victoria College recently announced 19 Spring 2020 graduates from its Vocational Nursing Program at VC’s Main Campus.
Graduates from our area are: Jayda Barton and Hannah Gohlke of Port Lavaca; and Claudia Cruz-Cervantes, Dustin Nguyen and Nathan Nguyen of Seadrift.
“We are extremely proud of these students who overcame unprecedented challenges during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic to graduate from the program,” said Joyce Harper, Victoria College VN program chair. “Most of the graduates have been rewarded for their commitment by already finding jobs in the nursing profession.”
Victoria College’s Vocational Nursing Program is a 12-month certificate program. enables students to take the National Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Satisfactory achievement on the exam qualifies students for licensure as a vocational nurse.
