The Chapel is moving forward in its work to reach this community for Christ! We have been provided many unique opportunities to serve the Lord Jesus.

We must admit to being “Full Gospel”, because we have had some great fellowship meals recently:

To honor Pastor Joane’s Birth MONTH, we enjoyed an All-Church Fellowship, a sandwich dinner, Mulligan stew, Taco Soup and a cook-out! We have enjoyed a Graduation Dinner in honor of Jessica Gonzales, who is completing a year-long rehabilitation program. It was good to see her and to congratulate her on the hard work she has put in to complete such a program. They have offered her the lead role in the house she is living in with the girls who are in the program. We are so proud of a home-town girl getting her life turned around and doing well!

We also celebrated Valentine’s Day with a meal. The church is providing it and we all are enjoying a great time together! Most of us realize it is not the meal as much as it i important that we just gather together.

We are hosting a winter retreat and we have gleaned fish from the Freeze Out Tournament. We have fed needy people from the pantry that has been so blessed by people of this community. We are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, just looking for an opportunity to spend time together!

We will be traveling to Hallettsville on Saturday, March 6, for a great Men’s Breakfast. Anyone wishing to attend should call Pastor Erny so arrangements can be made. We will be leaving at 7:00 a.m.
Next month, March 19 through March 26, we will be hosting Captain Robert, who will be teaching the Sea Academy. Those interested in becoming a boat captain should contact Captain Robert at 361-758-6184.

We are having a group from Arkansas coming to Retreat here with us during March. The man came with another church group last year and enjoyed it so much that he is bringing his church men
.
Fisherman’s Chapel is an interdenominational congregation whose goal is to exalt the Name of our Lord and do His work on earth. We realize that His work is done individually, but corporately we can do so much more! One will always find a warm greeting here and all are urged to, “Come, grow with us”! We meet each Sunday for Bible Study at 10:00 a.m., Morning Service at 11:00 a.m., and Evening Service at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. we gather for a midweek service.
