Bayside Community Church in Port Lavaca is holding its Second Annual Starter Herd Raffle on May 2, 2021 to benefit their building fund. Tickets are $100.00 and only 250 tickets will be sold.

The winning ticket will receive a starter herd consisting of:

– One Angus Bull Calf and
– Three Fancy Black Brangus Heifers provided by Rushell Cattle Company.

You need not be present to win.

Proceeds will be used to expand the church fellowship hall which serves as one of 2 Red Cross Shelters in Calhoun County and to purchase a much needed generator. The building also houses a food pantry open to serve anyone in the surrounding area in need of food and most recently is being used as an educational resource center serving children Pre-K through Junior HIgh.
