May’s Book Club meeting was held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, with Hostesses Lynn Luster, Charlotte Fitzgerald, Cindy Hanson, Pam Hill, and Cindy Cunningham doing an excellent job carrying out the the theme of May’s book, “Woman In The Window”, a gripping suspense novel by A.J. Finn. The Club’s book discussion took place in the form of a Zoom Call with Kacie Liput, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychoanalyst, who helped the ladies understand the Book’s complex and troubled characters by analyzing them, and explaining their bizarre and twisted behaviors.
Nineteen lovely ladies, including the Hostesses, enjoyed delicious finger sandwiches, deviled eggs, pasta salad, brownies, lemon bars, wine, and flavored water while discussing the book and visiting with each other!! It was a wonderful afternoon!!
The Book Club will take a Summer Break during June, July, and August, and then resume its meetings on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM. September’s book is “Isaac’s Storm: A Man, A Time, And The Deadliest Hurricane In History” by Erik Larson. We look forward to seeing everyone at that time!!. If you are interested in joining “Hooked On Books”, and this wonderful group of ladies, please send your contact information to alanehaardt@yahoo.com. All are welcome!!
