Charles “Chris”Christy 92, of Port O’Connor, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones with him on May 20, 2023. He was born November 1930, in Athens, Tx to Arthur and Nora Christy.

He served as an MP in the Korean War. He worked in construction until he retired and moved to Port O’ Connor where the family has lived since.

He is survived by sons Marvin Christy of Dayton, TX., Melvin (Tanya) Christy of Tioga, LA., Bobby “Cotton” Christy Port O’Connor, TX., Stanley(Beth) Christy of Seadrift, TX., daughters Brinda “Sue” (Ronnie) Barton of Port O’Connor, TX., and Elizabeth “Liz” Rosamond of Fredricksburg,VA. One sister Pat Peterman of Alexandria, LA., numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Christy, parents, one sister and three brothers.
