At the last Port O’Connor Service Club meeting, it was announced by Sally Jones, Head of the Nuts for Sale Committee, that once again Club members will have for sale pecans and walnuts. Pecans will be available later this month, and the price has increased somewhat due to the drought. Contact a Service Club member if you wish to purchase them.

Club voted to make a donation to the Christmas Benevolence Fund for both Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for certain members of our community.

The next meeting of the Service Club will be Thursday, November 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Center. Items on the Agenda will be the annual Christmas Luncheon with information concerning decorations and the menu items for the Luncheon.
