Victoria Symphony Provides an Afternoon of Musical Fun

She described the different instrument families, discussed individual instruments, and the roles of composers and conductors. The students then had an opportunity to see and play different instruments and practice conducting.
Mobile Dental Unit Visits School
Several kids were showing off pearly white teeth following a visit from the Whitley Mobile Dental unit. The dental unit cleans teeth, applies fluoride treatments, fills cavities and does extractions. It’s amazing how many children were excited and eager to visit the dentist.
Mrs. O’Neill’s Pre-K Class is Ready for Santa Claus
Kids in the Pre-K class had fun making Santa faces which were covered with lots of glitter and cotton balls. There was also a wonderful cinnamon aroma wafting through the school as they made cinnamon ornaments for the Christmas tree. It’s definitely starting to smell like Christmas around here!
Thank You Volunteers!
We are sincerely grateful for all the help we received to make the Christmas Store successful. The students look forward to the opening of the store each year. It just wouldn’t be possible without all the help from the people who wrap hundreds of gifts and donate all the “treasures” for the students to purchase.
We’re also very appreciative of the help Beverly Pedley and Jennifer Reed provided in making the costumes for the Christmas Program. The costumes turned out great! Thank YOU.
