The Seadrift Community Choir will be presenting their annual series of Christmas concerts beginning December 8.

The repertoire consists of:
“Prepare the Way for the Lord”
“Marvelous Song”
“Pavane for a Silent Night”
“Amen, Go Tell It!”
“Lullaby, Holy One”
“Angels’ Gloria”
“Peace Be With You”

Presented annually as a gift to the Community, the performance schedule is as follows:

December 8, 6:00 p.m.: Seadrift Cemetery Service of Remembrance

December 9, 9:15 a.m.: St. Patrick Catholic Church

December 9, 6:00 p.m.: First Assembly of God

December 12, 6:00 p.m. Trinity Shores, Port Lavaca

December 14, 2:00 p.m. Seadrift School

December 16, 11:00 a.m.: First United Methodist Church

December 16, 6:00 p.m.: First Baptist Church

Under the direction of Nancy Childress, choir members are: Mary Kay Belter, Frances Brown, Genevieve Bundy, Vickie Campbell, June Cantrell, Vi Colianni, Carolyn Cowan, Schuler DeBruin, Gina Fisher, Judy Gaines, Becky Gray, Pam Gremminger, Karen Helms, Lynda Hunter, Joyce Key, Sharalyn Maddux, Carolyn McCool, Diane Mooney, Joanne Mueller, Lynn Pfeifer, Steph Stiles, Caroline Tumlinson, and Geraldine Williams.

The Dolphin recommends the Seadrift Community Choir as an important part of the Christmas celebration and thanks the choir members for freely sharing with the community.
