The public is invited to attend the August 14 meeting of the Conservative Club, held at the Heritage Center, Hwy 238 in Port Lavaca, where Congressman Blake Farenthold will be speaking. Congressman Farenthold represents the 27th District of Texas. Lunch ($5) will be served at 11:15 a.m. and the program will begin at noon.

There will be an open meeting sponsored by the Calhoun County Republican Party at First National Bank Meeting Room in Port Lavaca on Monday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m. All interested parties are invited to attend.
