Seadrift City Employee Appreciation
On February 8th Seadrift city employees were honored with a luncheon and framed pictures of the Seadrift area taken by City Councilman Kenneth Reese. Pictured are some, but not all, of the city’s employees. Mayor Elmer DeForest briefed the group at the luncheon about city projects and there was some Q & A. -Tanya DeForest

Democratic Club to Meet
The March meeting for Calhoun County Democratic Club will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Calhoun County Library, in the community room, 200 W Mahan St., Port Lavaca. Social/potluck is at 5.30 pm and the meeting starts at 6 pm. The following meeting will be Tuesday April 4th.
