The POC 4H group will have a spaghetti fundraiser dinner on Monday, Feb. 20 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
The group will be selling take out plates of spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert.
Please come by and support your local 4H kids.
At the January meeting, the Chamber sponsored 2012 Events were announced: Annual Fireworks Display will be July 7th, 2012; Annual Memorial Days Kids Fishing Tournament will be May 26th, 2012; Lighted Boat Parade will be held December 1st, 2012; Outdoor Lighting Contest will be December 21st & 22nd, 2012-so everyone start making plans for these upcoming events; all are free, no entry fees. Just come on down and enjoy what POC has to offer!!!!!!
The Chamber has secured two booths at the Houston Fishing Show being held, February 29th through March 4th. The response for this event has been tremendous. It’s looking like POC will have lots of publicity. “THANKS” to everyone who has contributed to make this a success.

The Port Lavaca Main Street Theatre has audition packs available for download at www.plmainstreet.org for the 2012 children’s theatre production of “The Velveteen Rabbit.”
Auditions will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 6 at the theatre, 315 E. Main Street in Port Lavaca.
