I want to give the Service Club ladies a BIG THANK YOU for letting me set up my table at their garage sale and give away dog collars to those who need them! A BIG SHOUT OUT to Susan Rose who donated 55 nice nylon collars to be distributed here in Port O’Connor! They were all given away today except for 4. We will donate those the the Calhoun County Humane society. Thanks again! There’s 51 happy furry friends today because of Susan’s kindness! God bless! -Nancy Pomykal

Lester Construction will continue to work on upgrading our water lines, if the weather permits.
These areas will be Tyler St. to Monroe Ave on 2nd St. through the month of October/December. We would like to ask for your patience during this time. While there will be water disruption and we will be on top of putting out alerts to let you know when water will be turned off.

Please note to receive an alert in regard to POCID activities, please sign up at our website pocid.org.
We are also asking customers to make it easier in finding your home when having sewer issues or meter readings that if possible to put the house numbers visible on the outside of your home. We have recently welcomed new employees from out of town and it would be very helpful.

Also, if you are aware that your neighbor does not have a cell phone to receive text messages or internet for email please have them call the office so we can give them a friendly call when we do send out alerts.
POCID is here for all our customer with any questions you may have, you may email us at pocmud@tisd.net or give us a call (Evangelina and Robyn) we will be more than happy to help.
