State Senator Kolkhorst and Mayor DeForest

The City of Seadrift was honored with a visit from State Senator Lois Kolkhorst on August 7 at Seadrift City Hall. The Senator graciously came to get a better understanding of the needs of the community following Hurricane Harvey. Included in the visit was a tour of damaged areas in Seadrift. The Senator walked down the damaged fishing pier, inspected parts of the damaged sea wall, drove around the harbor, and viewed the damage at the Sports Plex. Thank you, Senator Kolkhorst! -Tanya DeForest
