Condolences – Debbie Busby
Debbie Busby left this world peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Scott & White Hospital, Temple, TX, surrounded by her family.
Debbie had been battling a chronic condition for many years, and her courage in fighting the disease was unbelievable, smiling, joking, and issuing orders until the very end.
Debbie was a tiny woman who many saw as delicate and fragile, however she was just the opposite; she was “tough as nails”. Her beautiful eyes, smile, kindness, and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. She loved life, and cherished her family and all of her Port O’Connor friends.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to Peggy Elliott, Cherise Branch, Bill & Belinda Tigrett, Brennan & Angela Eklund, and Dr. Paul Bunnell who were especially helpful and stood by her until the very end.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband Jim; son Matthew Wall of Austin; brother Ron Miranda (Carol) of Oregon; step-sons Ben Busby (Aimee) of Round Rock and Justin Busby (Joy) of Pflugerville; and 3 grandchildren.
