During Texas Parks & Wildlife Abandoned Crab Trap Removal Period volunteers will search the bays, remove, and dispose of any traps remaining in the water during the closure period.

Dieter Erhcard, proprietor of the Art Boat, wishes all his Seadrift area friends a “Happy New Year”. He has just announced the completion of his newest work in his native Germany. “El Toro”. It consists of a 7-ton boulder with stainless steel horns and tail. It has one open eye, which stands for our world politic. He plans to later create a cowboy of stainless steel.
