Big winds kicked us out of the surf and back into the bays starting Saturday. Wade fishing proved most effective taking scattered Trout and Redfish for the effort. Boatbound anglers having lots of challenges at the moment so it looks like we’re in for a transition heading into the meat of the month. We’ll be looking for winds to back down again more typical of July with fish going deep over shell if water quality allows. If it stays windy, mud/grass will be the bailout working mud pockets and grass lines and that typically means we’ll be seeing some really big Trout and solid Redfish in August.

Flounder Gigging

Staying productive through the moon phase with lots of nice fish hitting the shorelines. Capt. Chris Cady and Capt. Jeff “Limit” Larson worked them over pretty good over two nights (2 nights harvest pictured).
