The Open House held at the Seadrift Masonic Lodge on Saturday, May 27, was a great success. A number of people from Seadrift and surrounding areas visited and while there enjoyed refreshments and fellowship.

The Awards Presentation was completed as scheduled with the following individuals receiving recognition:

The Community Service Award was presented to Mrs. Laurie Gail Beaver for her outstanding work with children.

The $1,000.00 Scholarship Award was presented to Mr. McCade Stafford for his achievements while attending Calhoun ISD High School. He stated the funds will be used to offset his college costs.

Many thanks go out to those who attended the Open House and to the Lodge members who helped make it a special day.
