Betty Recker

Seadrift – Betty Recker, 70, of Seadrift, was born on May 29, 1940 and passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Seadrift.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Marie Fenner of Seadrift; and her sons, Eric Recker of Prescott, Ariz. and Aaron Paul Recker of Seadrift.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Recker.

Funeral services were held on April 19 at First Baptist Church in Seadrift with Pastor Montie Martin and Deacon Dennis Wittnebert officiating. Interment was at Seadrift Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jackson Cross, Murlyn O’Briant, Gable O’Briant, Leonard O’Briant, Ted Gill, and Nathan Wooldridge.
