Charles Laxson of Port O’Connor passed away in San Antonio at the VA Hospital on September 23, 2011. He was born on November 6, 1940 in Mosheim, Texas.

He is survived by children, Sandra Neely of Blessing and Sharon Holcomb of Venus and Chuck Laxson of Bryan, TX; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and all of his friends from Port O’Connor.

A graveside service was held at 2 pm on Thursday at the Port O’Connor Cemetery, with the Reverend Bill Reeves officiating.
