Mrs. Monica Pelech will be taking over the reins of the Calhoun County Senior Citizens Association, Inc. December 1, 2011.

Joan Auld, director for the last 5 years, will be retiring to spend more time with family and traveling in their travel trailer. Auld will be staying on through the month of December in order to facilitate a smooth transition.

In the past, Pelech worked in the state of Washington for Bechtel. Most recently, she was employed as director of Calhoun County Community Ministries.

She said she loves helping people and hopes to continue what Auld has put in place and also try to bring new ideas and programs to the Center. Her parents, Mr.& Mrs. Milton Pfeifer, are frequent participants at the Center enjoying meals, games, fellowship, etc.
