Alby’s Seafood now open for business in Seadrift

Anthony Godinich took over the lease for the building located at the Seadrift Harbor. Anthony is the son of the founders of Alby’s Seafood in Fulton, Texas.

The building suffered major damage from Hurricane Harvey. The first time Anthony saw the building he saw the possibility of a successful business. He got his contact numbers and got started with the renovation. He also got help from the City of Seadrift as well as his own employees. After getting certified to buy oysters, his business began to take off. This all happened around Thanksgiving.

Anthony’s parents, Alby and June Godinich, opened the first Alby’s Seafood in 1983. Anthony joined them in 1989. Alby Godinich retired ten years ago, but still enjoys being at the business.

Alby’s Seafood is a wonderful asset to the City of Seadrift. Drive down when you can to the Seadrift Harbor and see for yourself this new addition of business to our area.
